This sabre was specially developed by me and is intended to offer a mix of safety and approximation of historical practice sabres. Bells and blades are produced according to my wishes in cooperation with Uhlmann Fencing.
The sabre bell is made of 2mm steel plate. The blade has a triangular cross-section and tapers from the bell to the point so that it only bends in the last third in the thrust. The M1 CURVED model has a curved blade in the style of Alfred Hutton's fencing books. The tang or tang of the blade has the same dimensions as Olympic blades, which makes our modular design possible. This allows you to change, upgrade or customise blades and other parts on the weapon.
