New standard in fencing jackets for historical fencing
To bring a fencing jacket onto the market that enables fencing with the highest level of safety without major restrictions on movement, that is the aim of this development. Uhlmann Fencing agreed to participate in this development in cooperation right after initial talks. In the meantime we have tested several prototypes and have also developed fencing pants. They meet all the requirements I had set myself.

The fencing jacket is made of fully elastic 800N fencing jacket fabric from Uhlmann, which offers much greater mobility and is also lighter than the cotton fabrics previously used in the scene.
For the padding, after one year of testing, I found a new, also fully elastic fabric with a honeycomb structure, which is even lighter than the fabric and promotes air circulation in the jacket.
The sensitive bony structures of the shoulder area are additionally incorporated in the impulse- or shock-absorbing foam, which offers additional protection.
The elbows and forearm have no padding, which greatly improves the mobility of the arms. Furthermore, fencers usually apply additional individual protective equipment in the form of forearm and elbow protectors.
The jacket is provided with a front zipper and has a bib in the genital area. This bib, although it may look "unattractive" to some fencers, does not provide good protection for the genitals but improves the fit of the jacket and therefore the safety enormously.
Overall I am very satisfied with this jacket. We hope for your trust. The jacket is in the CE-test and we hope to be able to offer it in white and black as well as the pants in the shop in 2020.
